Before phototherapy a person for about 20 min. spends in a special bath with antiseptics, skin softeners, antioxidants or substances enhancing skin’s sensitivity to radiation (PUVA bath). After phototherapy procedure is performed, and showered body is oiled with moisturizing, nourishing, keratolitic, remedial, detoxifying or antioxidant means and is wrapped. This combination of procedures appreciably increases the effectiveness of treatment and shortens duration of treatment.
