What to expect?
During the procedure, small amounts of botulinum toxin are injected with a thin needle into the skin of armpits, palms or soles. In one treated area 15–20 punctures are performed. During the injection, patients sometimes feel a slight tingle. After the procedure, the skin at the injection site may become red, swollen.
