Clinical work experience: a physician-dermatovenerologist, 15-year work experience in skin disease diagnostics and treatment; since 2006 has worked in the Centre of Dermatovenereology, Vilnius University Hospital Santariškių Klinikos (VUL SK).
Scientific and pedagogical work experience: a lecturer of the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University, a doctor of sciences, a professor; gives lectures for students and doctors-trainees; a director of doctors-residents; prepared over 30 doctors-residents.
A lecturer of Lithuanian and international congresses, an author and a co-author of 56 scientific publications.
An organizer of national and international scientific seminars, conferences and congresses (44 seminars, 32 conferences, 3 congresses).
Public activities: the President of the Lithuanian Society of Dermatovenereologists (LDVD), an initiator and coordinator for Euromelanoma Campaign in Lithuania, an organizer of World Psoriasis Day’s events.
Fields of interest: phototherapy, inflammatory and chronic skin diseases, dermatooncology, dermatoscopy, pediatric dermatology, skin surgery, laser and aesthetic procedures.
Membership: the President and a member of the Board of the Lithuanian Society of Dermatovenereologists (LDVD), a member of the Executive Committee of the European Academy of Dermatologists and Venereologists (EADV), a member of the European Society of Dermatooncology (EADO) and the Board of UEMS’s Dermatovenereology Section, a member of the European Dermatologists Forum (EDF).
Internships: in university and private clinics of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Turkey, Russia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Sweden, Norway.
